Worst ABA Company to Onboard and Train With

The Treament Center staff were so very kind and understanding. They know how intense BT/RBT and BCBA training is. They get it Leadership and HR absolutely don’t get it at all, they don’t have to do a million clearances and 50 hrs. Worth of training to get their positions. Only those that do understand the commitment and time that takes.

Cons

I went through almost two months of onboarding paperwork, certifications, clearances, physical exam and TB testing and so much more. Timely communicated all my appointment confirmations, everything. Then when I actually started training I got suddenly terminated Mid day on Monday of Day 5-6 of my actual BII orientation and BT training. It was ridiculous. And HR denied I did any of my training, or submitted all my clearances/confirmations of them. As if I don’t have all the email correspondence from my professional email saved that prove otherwise. It was just so unfair, I’ve never been treated this way for the onboarding process for any of the other childcare or ABA Service centers I’ve worked at. I was so excited to join this company, now I never want to associate with them at all as a striving BCBA grad student.

High pay, decent benefits, great learning experience

Cons

The company has an “open door policy” where no changes occur as a result. RBT’s and BT’s are struggling to make ends meet due to cancellations. Staffing does a terrible job at providing cases that fit RBT needs. BCBA’s do not speak up for their techs when parents take advantage of tech’s. The owners have been more pre-occupied with expanding the company for more $$$$$. Trust me, there are companies paying more with MORE hours, more pay, and benefits in the same area. This company has had record high turnover rates in the past few months. They instead are focused on hiring anyone and everyone to bring in more cash flow. This company has lost its integrity. Run far away from BII!
