    Negative Outlook

I worked at Bell Potter Securities full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Has and still attracts experienced Advisers mainly because they are one of the biggest full service Stockbroking companies

    Cons

    - Very low salary - Pay hasn't been adjusted for inflation the last 20 years and don't expect much of a bonus. - Out dated work culture - HR department is non existent and they make you pay for training expenses. - Costs are cut and minimised any way possible. A petty example would be putting less pens in the stationary cabinet so people take less.

    Positive Outlook

I have been working at Bell Potter Securities full-time

    Pros

Company heading in the right direction, facilities generally up to par. Office environment is relaxed and open. Work hours are reasonable, late nights are not the standard

    Cons

Salary growth of management and top-tier employees greatly exceeds back-office. IT support is very lacking. Computers are slow. Communication and standardisation between departments needs improvement
