The CEO exhibits a poor example of what a hard-working, sincere, appreciative leader should be. Company morale is continuously low due to the ineffectiveness at communicating with employees. Associates are treated as disposable, left to their discretion despite the associates' personal cost or inconvenience. With those things in mind, the pay is insulting and not a fair representation of the worth of the business knowledge the associates possess. The environment is not conducive to the introduction of new ideas or team comradery, and associates are treated like potential felons thanks to unnecessarily-stringent rules concerning security (i.e., no cell phones past the front door, certain shoes to prevent setting off metal detectors, etc.)
