Pros

Meeting other intelligent and dynamic marketers, learning a lot about the different marketing channels

Cons

Management is out of touch, expects you to be on call 24/7 (no matter who you are), deliverables are assigned last minute, lots of lies and false promises

Total chaos. Clueless management. Low salaries

Pros

Some colleagues are really nice. Very specialized employees are really good at what they do so you'll learn a lot from them. Good office location.

Cons

One of the lowest salaries of the industry and the city. Managing partners play favorites and if you're not part of the "favorites" there is no career advancement. Tons of Slack messages that are expected to be answered after office hours, including weekends, are the norm and not the exception. They offer you bonuses and commissions but they don't pay them. Being reprimanded in public is very common. Management doesn't keep you informed of any new direction but expect you to follow whatever decision they make, regardless of your values or opinions.

A complete mess

Pros

- You learn a lot, and quickly. Not necessarily only about your area of expertise, but also on how to work on a fast-paced environment that changes strategies every month or so. It can be helpful. - Some people are nice and I definitely will keep in touch with them.

Cons

- Low wages. The only ones that get paid well there are the favorite employees. - As mentioned, lots of favoritism. They will keep a favourite employee even if the person is one of the reasons everyone is leaving. - Owners do not hide when they don't like you that much. - Lots of empty promises - No value is given to employees - They think you have to accept what they offer you (low wages, almost no benefits) in the name of "start-up culture" - Endless hours. Expect to work overtime. - Constant asking to write reviews on Glassdoor
