Consistent Schedule Flexibility with time off Great benefits (medical/dental) 401k matching Very straightforward job, nothing is very stressful or strenuous Break room with plenty of snacks, coffee, cooking equipment Company gatherings/events are really fun Room for growth within the company

Cons

start time is relatively early (6-7am) which can lead to dealing with some traffic on the way to work Pay isn’t amazing, but it’s enough to live comfortably

disorganized and chaotic. constant pushing for "production" with little effort to coordinate or plan (much less train) leading to lots of rework and overtime. Unskilled and new workers pushed to produce and left to work alone. I am very glad I didn't need to rely on them for my training, I worked with many "electricians" that worked with Berg from apprenticeship through to journeyman and most of them didn't know much about anything and couldn't tell you how anything worked. They'd hire on en masse and then layoff, very turn-and-burn. I always had overtime available fixing other worker's mistakes. Watched them lose money on a few large projects and after surviving many rounds of layoffs and travelling for them I left for the union. Best decision I could've made.
