Believe what you hear! Nepotism and aloofness!

Pros

Free snacks and drinks. Offer competitive bonuses but with a tough goal to hit them.

Cons

Put people in leadership who probably shouldn't be there. Those who gossip the most to the owners get promoted (unless you're family, then you're just promoted automatically). Definitely do not trust employees and the "big brother" complex comes not just from the owners but also from the leadership staff as well. They have truly proven that they do NOT trust their employees AT ALL. Zero room for growth if you're a good, hard worker. They can't afford to let you move up and leave your position. Owners are blind to issues even though multiple people report them. They stay behind in technology. If you offer ideas and concepts for new things your are questioned about it until you're exhausted and give up on the new concept! Frown on remote working. Allow 1 person to ruin things for all. They just don't like to be questioned on anything.

Pros

Decent pay Friendly CEO Great IT Staff Benefits were great 401k Vision + Dental

Cons

It's a very small company where many of the employees are family related to the owners and are in positions of power. Unfortunately, this makes the great employees be overlooked. The MANAGERS favor the ones who brown-nose the most, not the hardest workers Very poor marketing Doesn't trust employees and will not give raises Management has a big brother complex

Pros

Most of the staff is great.

Cons

I regret to say that my experience with the leadership team and team structure at Beringer has been less than favorable. The apparent lack of professionalism and competence within the PowerApps leadership team is concerning, and it reflects in the overall atmosphere of the workplace. The dynamic between the two managers of the PowerApps team is reminiscent of divorced parents, creating an uncomfortable environment for the rest of the team. The absence of a clear structure within the team adds to the challenges of working here. One glaring issue is the perceived indifference towards employees. It often feels like you're just a number, and genuine care for your well-being as an employee seems to be lacking. Interestingly, when expressing the intention to leave, the response is sudden accommodation, leaving me questioning the sincerity of the company's approach. Moreover, there seems to be an inconsistency in the treatment of employees. Low-performing individuals are retained, while others are let go, raising concerns about fairness and the company's commitment to fostering a positive work culture. In conclusion, based on my experience, I would not recommend Beringer Technology as a workplace. The challenges mentioned above have significantly impacted the work environment, and I hope the company takes steps to address these issues for the benefit of its employees.
