Pros

Working at this company is definitely rewarding if you're willing to push yourself to excel. The CEO has high expectations from the get-go, but is fair and willing to listen to concerns; she is kind. You're given more autonomy and freedom in your work - it doesn't matter how you do it or what your work process is, as long as you can deliver and meet standards. Remuneration is better than average and your efforts are always recognised. Company culture is good and although the staff age range varies greatly, everyone seems to be able to get along with each other very well. There's no internal conflict, especially within each department. It's a tight-knit community.

Cons

There is a need for more manpower and sometimes rest for the staff. They should consider more remote working opportunities to increase productivity and prevent burnout.

Only care about profit. No qualms to do anything to get it.

After working irregular hours and shifts for most of my adult life, having regular office hours with weekends off feels like a breath of fresh air. I'm still adjusting to this routine. Moving from government healthcare to private healthcare gives me a chance to see how it works, especially dealing with foreign patients. I enjoy the opportunity to interact with doctors and surgeons and make new connections. Within a span of slightly over a year with Beyond Medical, I've grown as an individual, becoming more independent and gaining the trust of my CEO and General Manager. They've always supported me, especially during tough times, and have been kind and encouraging in my development. I can see myself progressing with the company, thanks to the many opportunities it offers.

Cons

Having worked in large companies before, this is my first time in the private sector, I do worry about job security and retirement.
