Pros

Uses reactive Frameworks. You will mostly work independently. Excellent HR

Cons

No learning opportunities. Bilue has nonexistent middle tier management which leads to lot of pressure on developers. There are no quality metrics of work. Heavily relies on client feedback. Lack of leadership and company support when you need it the most. And majority of the reviews are result of HR drive for painting good image of company.

Thank you for your feedback. We are surprised about your mention of the lack of learning opportunities, as we provide quarterly soft-skills training, in addition with 'Lunch and Learns', our weekly Team Showcase and the annual $1,000 budget for personal or professional development. We're sorry you felt that this wasn't available to you. We understand how joining during the pandemic would not have been the most ideal of circumstances, as within this time there were a lot of competing factors the Executive Leadership Team had to prioritise for the ongoing safety of our employees, whilst continuing to meet all of our clients expectations. In response to your advice to management, I am pleased to say we have recently implemented a "Senior Team Lead' role, which is an additional layer of leadership to support the ongoing development of our teams.

Pros

Good projects to work on Good Xmas party

Cons

Unexperienced small company with not many people who have been there for a long time and many that join and leave within one year. Not a great culture and you just earn money.

Thank you for your feedback. We're glad you hear you enjoyed the Christmas party and liked the projects you got to work on. Re: Culture We work to support our teams and create a strong cultural identity within Bilue. Notwithstanding the professional development we continuously offer, as well as the various Slack channels which (especially whilst working remotely) offer a place for our teams to support each other and connect. Some of these include virtual games nights, a cooking club, communities of practice as well as personal networking channels. We work to build a sense of family in our teams and support that in our Employee Value Proposition (EVP). Our attrition rate is currently sitting at 7.5%. 23 of our current 55 staff members have been here for between 1-8 years and up until a year ago, our business ran with approximately 30 people. A positive result of more businesses want to go mobile during the pandemic means we've won a lot of new business, and have therefore increased the team by another 25 people (including People & Culture, leadership and sales staff. Hence why it may seem as though we have a lot of new staff - because we do! But based on the attrition rates, most are sticking with us in these exciting times.
