Pros

The logo is nice, that’s it

Cons

How on earth is this company still around? They’ve been going for probably about 4-5 years and they STILL have not got any retailers live. They signed Iceland, Morrison’s and a few others, and it’s not live there because their technology doesn’t work! Far too c level heavy with a bunch of payments guys who are handed equity to try and convince the world that their non existent technology will work. They’ve burnt through a tonne of cash already with no results, how on earth they managed to raise money recently is beyond me. Whoever led that move by Barclays is crazy.

Pros

The benefit of a small company and share option possibilities and to see the growth of the brand expanding international territories (provided the business takes off)

Cons

Where do I start. The issue with Bink as a whole is that they have members within the senior management team who have not got the correct amount of credentials to be guiding or leading technical minded inviduels within their field. Take my experience for example, I had been led by someone who had been a former PA and had been reluctant to follow suit on any recommendations or changes following my arrival into the business 5 months ago. The result had been being forced out due to “attitude issues” left a sour and bitter taste in the thoughts of how a great idea in concept for Bink is being led by those who do not wish to take the next step and expand the business with a new and exciting approach, yet they maintain in an autocratic leadership approach within the business with those who have stayed since the inception of the company, not taking change with encouragement, despite the positive signs within the company in general.

Pros

Nice team, we all manage to have a laugh even though we are constantly worried we might be sacked for no reason like half the team have been.

Cons

Management change their favourites frequently if you aren't a favourite you will be sacked with no warning.

We are really appreciative of your time taken to provide feedback. It is important that people who are considering working at Bink read what it is like to work here. It may have been useful for us and for people reading your review if you had explained in more detail, providing some examples of ‘management favourites’ and what you are referring to when you say ‘terrible management’. We have truly talented leaders who work for Bink so it is a shame that you feel this way. We appreciate that we are a start-up since being established in 2014 and we are truly working hard on building that established company that you mention. 2018 brings exciting prospects for Bink. As you are a current employee I would love for you to speak confidentially to your Head of HR to enable us the opportunity to understand details of your concerns and enable us to act on this. That conversation with your Head of HR can then help with reassuring you. We value our employee's and we would be keen to hear from you about how we can change your negative outlook into a positive one. We hope you give us the opportunity to do that for you.
