Unfortunately, this was the most difficult workplace experience I’ve had.
Many of the employees were hardworking and decent, though there were also a few who were consistently rude and ungrateful, which affected the overall team dynamic.
However, the core issue stemmed from the Founder & Managing Director, Natasha Bowes. Her lack of people skills was genuinely surprising. I found her to be condescending, unapproachable, and often disrespectful towards both staff and external stakeholders, including building management and neighbouring businesses. She came across as disconnected and lacking empathy in day-to-day interactions.
While she clearly possesses strong business acumen, this was overshadowed by her poor leadership and ineffective mentoring style. It’s a credit to the Biotiful team that they remained dedicated in such a challenging environment.
