      Average but will never be good place to work due to narrow job focus and bad culture that leads to high turnover

      Pros

      Large office space, nice benefits, pay for cost of living, company succeeds despite itself due to nature of REITs, current capital markets and niche in real estate industry

      Cons

      Long hours, average to high turnover for industry, narrow job focus due to size of company and bureaucracy, strong underlying politics due to passive/aggressive culture starting from the top, lack of career upside as evidenced by internal surveys (management will tell you they are making progress but they continue to hire externally for higher positions as they grow)

      Pros

      Good benefits, great annual holiday party.

      Cons

      This was a great company in its infancy but has grown into one where nepotism, office politics, and bureaucracy are the norm. The corporate culture has changed, resulting in an atmosphere of harrassment and bullying. Long hours are expected with little regard for work-life balance.

      Pros

      There is a decent pay rate.

      Cons

      There is no instruction from the top down. You have to learn on your own and when you don't do something properly, there is no assistance on how to fix it. Once again you have to figure it out. No structure or organization. If you are not a part of the "clique" you are left drowning. Even if you are a self-starter, there are things needed at the beginning that they don't give you.
