Start-up company that has no idea how to run as a well-established company with a lot to learn. Very unprofessional & does not operate like a normal business.
Lots of free food, social culture is amazing (as long as you're in the "in group") and the work is relatively fulfilling
Cons
In addition to the expectation of much longer hours than the job description claims, managers and executives have a complete lack of experience or respect. Don't even get me started on the shady firing practices.... Department of Labor would have a lot of fun putting this place under a microscope...
Although I only recently started working here, I can tell that the people are passionate about what they do and are extremely hard working. The CEO is excellent at convening the importance of the work for the greater good of healthcare.
Cons
One of the first questions I was asked in my interview was if I minded working very long hours. It turns out that this is a great question as the expectation is to work 60 hour weeks.
