Great employees, poor communication by upper management

Pros

Employees are hard working and will do what they can to make management happy. Very friendly and collaborative atmosphere in mid to low level employees. Sound business model for sample storage.

Cons

Upper management does not share information openly, nor do they take constructive criticism well. Decisions tend to be made based on personal relationships rather than business strategy or data. Lack of accountability and ownership of work. Difficult to understand roles and responsibilities as they can change frequently and without being notified. Messages from management always have a spin to them and can rarely be taken at face value.

Pros

This company was recently taken over by Brooks automation. Seems okay if you are salary. Kinda have to start at the bottom to get anywhere.

Cons

Onboarding process was a bit slow and unprofessional. It may just be because my contract was taken over.

Pros

Innovative spirit with desire to achieve great things. Ambitious growth expectations and loyal, talented employees who want to succeed.

Cons

Lack of investment in talent, technology, processes to be successful. Lots of window-dressing, but no follow through in execution. Senior management is only concerned with making themselves and investors rich and famous. Sales team is given unachievable goals and not paid commission when they deliver.
