Pros

Having difficulty finding any benefits at all. One of the worst places I have ever worked. Biscuits & Bath has made me go on medication for depression and anxiety.

Cons

Corporate management is horrible; communication is non-existent, and is dominated by a culture of fear. You will come in one day to find that your critical coworkers have been fired abruptly, and are never replaced. Business strategy could be described as "frantic" or "erratic"- every week there is some new pressing emergency which demands you drop everything else you've been assigned. You will be given a crushing amount of responsibilities, and then your goals will be constantly revised upwards, with no increase in resources. You will be perpetually squeezed. Even though the company raises prices significantly every year to "give our employees a good standard of life," you will never actually get a raise. Your sick days and PTO are drawn from the same bank (12 days a year), and you will never get any holidays off. Don't want to work on Christmas Day or Thanksgiving? Better be prepared to use 1/6th of your time off for the entire year. Management is both chronically disorganized and overbearing. You will be given totally absurd goals, work yourself ragged in an attempt to meet them, and never get anything in return- not even recognition or a "good job." Every Friday you will have to send the CEO a personalized email listing all the things you did that week, which will never, ever, ever get a response. The company is "always hiring" because staff turnover is absurd- location managers are hired, and within a month they'll be fired, without even a chance to acclimate and prove themselves. This is a bad, bad, BAD place to work. If I can convince just one other person not to subject themselves to this work environment, maybe my time here meant something.

Pros

the dogs are cute and i love animals.

Cons

everything else: - Management is poor, lacks understanding, and expects employees to do other people's work while getting paid minimum wage - This place has no standards for taking in dogs, will let the staff get bitten multiple times, let the dogs get bit and even need emergency care, but will not ban a dog and let them come back. I have seen dogs get staples, stiches and have hear stories of dogs getting scalped and even pieces of their ear torn off. - This place raises its prices towards clients and claims to pay their employees more, but never actually pays them more. - Staff does not take good care of the dogs; many dogs have gotten loose, and some have even lost their lives by getting hit by cars due to negligence. - This place hires anyone, and some of the handlers have abused dogs, and the company never tells their owner the truth behind their dogs' injuries. - Promotions are based on favoritism and end of creating a horrible environment, probably why the turn over rate here is so high. The only long lasting employees are the ones who never found a better job. - Lastly, this company puts money above a dogs needs and wants. The dogs are usually forced to stay inside with minimal enrichment, small walks around the block would cost the client more on top of daycare price and some dogs do not leave the location all day. They rather make money on every small addition that focus on a dogs wellbeing and keeping them mentally stimulated which results in their bad behavior and daily scuffles.
