Pros
Union job, great benefits, good for an early retirement. Plenty of opportunities for overtime.
Cons
Lack of employees is making overtime a fact of life. Seniority is everything. This is a job where it is hard being new, but if you stick it out a few years it gets better. Turnover is a huge issue here

Health Department-lack of transparency, leadership team only works with leadership team, employees are not included in future planning and goal setting of their own jobs or activities, leadership team indifferent to employee satisfaction, no flexibility with work hours, low salary
