      Pros

      I genuinely believe deep down that BlackLine is a good company with a great product. Unfortunately the company has been infiltrated by a certain type, which ultimately destroyed my experience and had an effect on my mental health.

      Cons

      Nepotism, favoritism and internal cliques rule here. If you're a friend or a family member, or you're in with one of the many internal cliques, you're untouchable and will be first in line for promotions and progression opportunities. If not, you're an outsider (and treated as such) and not afforded the same opportunities.

      Hybrid work environment and medical insurance is great

      Cons

      Sometimes, it feels like if you're not in sales, you don't always get the same level of backing from regional leadership especially in Asia. As for the BD manager, while he may not have deep knowledge of the function, he tends to get what he wants—largely because he's very effective at presenting his ideas and navigating conversations but that's it. Also, the company has too many layoffs - not stable so think before you accept any offer.
