Pros

Want to work for a company that pays significantly less then industry standards and has terrible benefits. Want to work for sales leaders that have little sales experience that harass their top reps? Want to attend book club meetings rather then sell? Want to be on a dead end career path and watch a company go under? Then join the North American sales team where quotas are unachievable and leaders lack ethics and experience.

Cons

Execs/HR continues to support poor management behavior.

Pros

Overall solid product - still a leader in data erasure worldwide. Good people and super smart product leaders.

Cons

The root problem with Blancco is that sales leadership is severely lacking. Currently there is no one that can right the ship in their continuous sinking so many sales reps leaving. For North America there has been a continuous set of new managers who leave quickly. Blancco is now lead by a novice sales management that has never managed people before and is severely lacking in strategy, tact and and the ability to lead with integrity. This new sales management has made promises to Sales Reps that they would get certain territories/accounts and even promised promotions and had reversed these decisions/prolonged these promises with no timeline after promises were made. Decisions for major customers are all over the map with inconsistencies in pricing and customer treatment. Further this new management has repeatedly bad mouthed other team members and even talked of firing people to others - making for an uncomfortable sales environment. Add to this being late to meetings and dressing in jeans for professional meetings with executives of customers. Finally this sales management team created new sales plans that greatly increased quotas while drastically reducing commissions. Pile on to this ever dwindling support and pushing responsibility to all that goes wrong onto the Sales teams - All of this leads to a grind of a job with declining commissions and no real plan for personal growth in a hostile environment. I used to hope that the new leadership would develop and grow to lead people with integrity and trust but so many other sales team members have insisted a new direction is needed. Blancco needs sales leadership with integrity, tact and consistent strategy.
