      This Company ruined my carreer

      Pros

      They seem to have a lot going for them but its actually a big scam. The company hounds their employees for good reviews while they are working for them, that's the only reason they are highly rated by some means. They are good at looking good.

      Cons

      The truth is that Blu Omega is a shady contracting firm that only cares about money and puts profits above employee well-being. They do not advocate for their employees and have a revolving-door culture where they use and abuse well intentioned employees. Beware.

      Overall an OK company for a junior developer fresh out of college

      Pros

      -Flexible to remote work (at least for my position and with the client I'm working with now) -Everyone has been extremely helpful -Managers and team leads have checked in on me to make sure everything is going well with my work -Decent benefits and team culture

      Cons

      -I found out that I was paid about 22% less per hour than some of my peers. I understand I had a little less experience than some of them, but not 22% less. This point is the main reason I give it 3/5 stars -The actual day-to-day work and job description changed right as I was getting hired on, so I do a different type of development than I originally thought I would be. However, this might be the client we're working with more than Blu Omega itself -Having to track hours on several systems can be annoying

      The benefits were great, I really enjoyed the dynamic between Blu Omega and holiday events. I'm going to miss working with them and hope I reconnect with them

      * Better updates on the contracts would help
