Pros

There’s not much positive I can provide for this place.

Cons

No bereavement time. High expectations no resources to assist with this. Lack of empathy for employees. Lack of communication. Points out all the problems they can think of without a solution.

Pros

Not a large bank a nice way to get your foot in the door and learn banking without all the pressure

Cons

Management and HR sucks, they allow harrassment and cover it up to try and protect themselves.

Pros

There are no pros to working here.

Cons

This used to be an OK place to work before they changed their name to Blue Foundry Bank from Boiling Springs Savings Bank. However things changed drastically after the former president of the bank retired and they hired the current president. Within a year of him starting, he began laying off employees. The bank had never laid off employees in it's history. I had been with the bank for 7 years and always had good reviews. I had good relationships with employees at all levels in the different departments of the bank. One day I was called into the COO's office with my boss the CIO and told that they were eliminating my position. Both the COO and CIO told me that I do excellent work. I was given 30 minutes to pack up my personal belongings and get out. Not only that, but I was only paid through the end of the day. They did not even have the decency to give me 2 weeks severance pay as is customary. I am sure that they would have wanted two weeks notice if I had found a new position and decided to leave voluntarily. About a year later they outsourced the entire IT department including the CIO and even the COO. I could go on about what it was like to work for this company but I think that this says it all.
