      Pros

      Absolutely great and patient company. Very accommodating and has a true respect for the mythical "work life balance." Great people to work with, great pay, great opportunity. If you get on with this team, stay with them.

      Cons

      Fintech is boring and tedious. That's not BlueMatrix's fault.

      Pros

      - No pushback on vacations - Open to using new tech - Direct managers were nice and fought for developers - Dev team was always willing to pitch in and help

      Cons

      - Pay is well below industry standard for geographic area - Promotions and/or pay increases are rarely given even when the firm is having a great sales year. - If the firm has extra $$$ it will spend it on hiring new developers instead of taking care of the developers it has on staff - The firm expects each developer to be on stand by 24/7 for their own codebase. This would be fine if they showed appreciation when year end review comes, but nope. -Lack of diversity in management

      nice people, friendly environment, possibility to travel to the other offices (if they wish to send you), nice bonuses

      Cons

      lack of communication between the offices, it sometimes gets frustrating, especially because the PMs don't give the right specs
