Pros

Generous PTO decent base pay

Cons

CEO is a micromanager. All of the positive reviews are clearly lies because they are all done on the same day. That right there should tell you the company is a scam. CEO does not care about employees. CEO has used car salesman mentality and lacks innovation. Day to day duties consisted of constantly searching for candidates that were not easy to find given the cheap rates and less than desirable clients. The building is horrendous and the career trajectory is nonexistent. You can gain great skills at other agencies.

Pros

I met some great folks during my time there from the Ops Manager to Recruiters.

Cons

The President is an absolute joke. Don’t let the the trendy outfit and calm demeanor fool you. He has zero ability to lead, engage or have tough conversations. He actually has a hard time even making eye contact or addressing someone. Just awkward. It’s like working for a spoiled child.. or the jock in high school doing fist pumps as his way of communicating. Turnover is RIDICULOUSLY high and the pay is a joke. It doesn’t matter though because most are let go with no warning, training or coaching within 6 months. He doesn’t care. Period.

Pros

Base pay and commission are competitive.

Cons

Some of the management and operations team are great people but ultimately the company is being ran by a heartless individual. If you’re not the top performer you are for sure on the chopping block so if you’re not a top dog where you are at then don’t work here. In the past year or less 25 employees or so have been let go, just check LinkedIn! 25! AND THE OFFICE ONLY HAS 20 EMPLOYEES! Don’t just take my word, do your own due diligence and message any former employees on LinkedIn… and I do mean any. I am not scoured whatsoever, I just do not want talented job seekers to be fooled into thinking they will be valued because it will be a really draining and exhausting experience. I really feel bad for some of the management and employees because it makes their reputation look bad when it is really the President’s ill management. In speaking with other managers in the industry you will quickly find out he has a lot of relationships that has gone sour. They offer unlimited PTO but will hold it over your head if you take time off. A lot of recruiters have been fired shortly after vacation. Company has an extremely high turnover rate for it to be a small company. They will most likely tell you it is because they are revamping the company. Don’t believe the hype- the president just wants recruiters/ salesman who can make him money asap and work to the bone so he can continue to drive his nice car. While it is understood that staffing is a performance-based industry, there are too many other factors in this company that blocks talented recruiters from flourishing. No one has lasted longer than a year except for one. They were notorious for firing you and not giving a reason for firing you although that has changed since new management stepped in. While some management and some account managers are awesome it does not take away that the cutthroat environment starts from the top and trickles down. Honestly, if you do anything, and I do mean anything that the President does not like, management will fire you while the President hides in his office. They will tell you the environment is flexible and have flexible hours but, this is not true. The President wants you to work non-stop and does not care about work life balance. It is frowned upon if you leave when you are supposed to (in a very passive aggressive way). Stay far away from this company if you are looking for long term growth. They only care about the management team or whoever is currently bringing in the most revenue. As soon as they feel they have no more use for you, you will be let go without a reason. Do not believe a word they say when it comes to you feeling like part of a team. I've worked for many agencies/corporate companies but this one is the worst because of the passive aggressiveness. Be straight up with everyone. The reputation for this company has gone to crap and says a lot for such a small staffing agency. There are plenty of other agencies out there to choose from, so I advise you, if you want to truly grow… stay far away. I have been removed from the company for several months now, but I have heard too many more get burned by this company continuously, so I want to make others aware. Also, the positive review is most likely from the ONE recruiter that has been there for a year….
