Pros

You can dress like a slob and use profanity in meetings. Management is so bad that you can get away with sitting in your cube and serfing the net for hours at a time.

Cons

President David K. treats employees like slaves by talking down to them and making them feel like he is the only person in the world with a brain. He pretends to be above everyone but forgets how low budget his products are and the fact that the company doesn't even make enough money to replenish toilet paper in all the bathroom stalls. Good luck keeping employees around for long. Within the first six months I witnessed over 25 people leave the company because of terrible pay, unfair treatment, bad organization, limited resources, really bad / unqualified management. The only employees who stay with the company are those with no college degrees who have been there for 5+ years to hold down their low salary because no one else will hire them. HR is extremely gossipy and will tell anyone who will listen about your confidential information. Every single person that I worked with felt the same exact way so seriously RUN WHILE YOU CAN!

Pros

Casual work atire, shorts, tshirts, flip flops, free lunches occasionally. Very casual work environment. Your free to decorate your cubicle as you want, no restrictions. Lots of parking, there's a "gym" room with some treadmills (but no shower). Theres a lunch room with vending machines, refrigerators, microwaves, tables. Generally free coffee.

Cons

mismanagement, lots of bureaucracy, time reporting requires every little detail of work done for the week, horrible project planning and management, CEO is a snake oil salesman. Frequently you will be tasked to work on a feature, only to be retasked 3 weeks down the road and the feature disapears forever.

Pros

You get to work on good projects, sometimes (as long as it's not the core webmail). You get treated well by management,. Development process is truly Agile - features get built and tested very quickly. You also get to wear jeans to work, shorts if you want. Work hours were pretty flexible.

Cons

Management shifts priorities with unsettling frequency. It's almost like they don't know what they are doing, and are just chasing after whatever they think will make money. However, they havent' found it yet. The leadership team isn't very good at leading, and they don't inspire much confidence. The truth of the matter is they shouldn't have any anyway. They hired a few people and then laid them off a few months later. Clearly, they had no direction and no idea what was going on.
