Pros

If you work in a department that's mostly disconnected from the CEO (Tech/IT or HR), you MAY* get by at this company. If you are in one of these departments, you may even get to reap the benefits of the "unlimited" PTO policy (while it lasts; rumors abound it will soon be a thing of the past). If you are in any other department, there are virtually zero other pros here.

Cons

CEO is a garbage human; an actual sociopath. Gets off on firing many people very quickly, demoting folks when they reject his micromanaging, and, probably, reading these reviews. This company is NOT tech forward. Expect to work across many multiple sub-par platforms that are not (and never will be) integrated. "Tech" team seems to be there just for show, is asleep at the wheel, moves at a sloth's pace. There is no company culture here. The discomfort between senior management and their boss is palpable in every meeting, across every topic. Nobody has fun at this company and, in fact, the CEO directly targets those who easily get along with others. Middle managers are either miserable and driven into the ground or are ignoring the needs of the people on their teams in favor of over-actively vying for promotion into senior management. The Sales and Operations teams are constant revolving doors in staffing. Without fail, every time there's an employee exit, bizarre rumors, lies, and drama ensue. Keep in mind that the positive reviews seen in this forum have very obviously been prompted by HR. That said, life is probably pretty sweet on the HR team. Everything else is a dumpster fire.

In our constant search for feedback and improvement, we appreciate the information you have shared and would like to take the opportunity to address a few topics in your review. Unlimited PTO will continue to be a benefit at Blueprint. We believe that rest is a key component to our Core Value, Growth. Time away from work can be extremely helpful for maintaining a healthy work/life synergy. We encourage our leadership team to lead by example and take the appropriate time off to rest and recharge. We all work very hard in order to accomplish our goals, and we must reward ourselves with rest. As Blueprint continues to grow, we will continue to invest in process improvement, embrace technology, and move in one direction. As always, if you have any additional feedback for improvement you would like to share, please reach out to our People Operations team at people.resources@blueprinttitle.com.

Pros

-industry that is ripe for disruption. -clients who love the vision. -making progress with tech. -nice and friendly co-workers. -unlimited PTO (if you are in a department that is able to take advantage of it). -Work from home. -progressive, accepting, and inclusive company. -the potential/ability (keywords here) to improve an industry and bring modern and useful technology to the real estate title industry. -A necessary and smart Pivot to better customers. All-in-all, this is a good place to work if some of the cons get fixed, which is not impossible. Just a big "if".

Cons

-An absolutely terrible churn rate for clients (the exception here is the CEO's clients. Probably because no one wants to be responsible for losing a CEO's client). -Clients are always upset with our team. -Churn with leadership and employees. -Overworked operations team -Leadership/HR that refused to staff operations appropriately leading to the above point. -Culture has not been fun and lighthearted for a while. -Leadership glossing over management turnover as if it's unimportant (large announcements seem unempathetic)

Pros

The first few weeks start off great. Everyone seems like true teammates. You are recognized for your excellence while still in training. Once you are fully working, the atmosphere shifts.

Cons

The company is advertised as tech savvy - which there are aspects in which they are. However, as someone working in the operations department, it is completely overwhelming. You are constantly working in at least 5 open tabs that makes you repeat your steps numerous times. The CEO chases after every new opportunity but never completing the last task he started. While clients are put first, it doesn’t seem as if they truly look at someone’s work capacity. While some workers have a light workload others are so bogged down that you are left feeling beaten down. The idea of a remote title company is good, but Blueprint is missing a mark. They are too focused on the wrong values and ideas to be a successful title company. This was easily the worst working experience I had encountered.

Thank you for taking the time to share your candid feedback. From the top down, we believe the key to our business is our commitment to not only customer service, but to our team members as well. Because we believe great ideas can come from anyone and anywhere, we encourage feedback and we’re always seeking improvement in every aspect of the business. One recent example is addressing our Operations team capacity by increasing headcount and focusing on portal features to make our team more efficient. We will continue to reflect on progress made in this area, as these efforts were made as a result of feedback from current and former team members such as yourself. As Blueprint continues to grow, we will continue to invest in process improvement, embrace technology, and move in one direction.
