Fair salary, lack of any additional support
Pros
Salary is good. Healthcare/multisport is optional.
Cons
When working at client location (as most of the company): Feeling disconnected, company chat is almost dead despite 600+ people, non-existing exchange of ideas between employees. AWS trainings are the only one provided by company and even they are very rare/hard to attend. A lot of red-tape - jira is needed for everything, organizing conference travel is a lot of pain, a lot of "spam" emails from company HR about RODO and similar. No investment in employees in term of work-life balance, hardware, events, all benefits (Multisport/health insurance) are additionally subtstracted from your salary. No investment in open source initiatives or conference attendance. For every issue it feel like you have to fight/push yourself to make it work - if it is VPN, conference or hardware (one 22" monitor is norm). Lack of money support in buying laptop, there is one provided by company but if you need anything else (ex. mac) it is on your own. No clear in-company rules and ways of ex. asking for a monitor. Which is as huge pain as you have to go to your supervisor with everything especially if you don't work at client location with anybody from Bluesoft to pass you that knowledge. Non-existing career path.
