Pros

Nothing positive to say here

Cons

Leadership don’t have a clue. All the CEOs buddies have arrived, no idea on what they are doing but love to dictate. They are letting go of everyone good. Place is doing down the toilet.

Pros

Genuinely, zero pros for this horrible business.

Cons

Working for Bluestone was one of the most disheartening experiences of my career. The CEO is incredibly detached and lacks even the basic people skills you'd expect from someone in their position. It's not uncommon for him to stand in the lift with you and not even acknowledge your presence, let alone offer a simple hello. On the floor, he ignores the team entirely (unless your his “buddy”). He doesn’t care about individuals, only about results. There’s no empathy, no consideration for employees as people—just numbers to meet. Don’t even get me started on his inappropriate comments. How he hasn’t ended up in fair work astounds me. One of the most disturbing practices at this company is how they handled the recent redundancies. No support or regard for the timing or people’s situation. There is no HR so there’s no way things will change. There’s no social aspect to the company, no efforts to create community or promote engagement. The culture is toxic, and it's only made worse by the leadership team, which is full of the CEO’s friends. As a result, there's a severe lack of diversity in thought, and it’s clear that leadership is more about loyalty than ability. Management operates in cliques, and if you're not part of the "in" crowd, good luck getting anywhere. The board and the private equity company behind the company are equally indifferent to the well-being of employees. They care about the bottom line, period. The CEO doesn't hold himself accountable for anything, and it’s evident in the way he runs the company. If you're looking for a place where you'll feel valued and respected, look elsewhere. This company is driven by results at any cost, and the people who work here are nothing more than tools to be used and discarded. Every negative review about Bluestone is spot on. Don’t take this feedback lightly. If you’re considering a role there, honestly think twice. It will be the worst decision you ever make.
