Going in the wrong direction

Some of the people are amazing and the best part of the job. Team outings are great.

Cons

The management team is old school, and says BlueWave is different than other big recruiting agencies but it doesn’t seem like it anymore. We have to send out daily call logs and individual metrics, every day, manually, to the entire company. For some reason the recruiting manager doesn’t handle career growth or 1:1s, that’s done by the sales team. You have no say on what you want to recruit for. Promotion criteria is a moving target. If you’re struggling or stressed you’ll be told to work harder - make more calls.

Good Opportunity, Fun Environment

This is a boutique firm with a lot of growth potential and a management team that cares about the success of their staff. The environment is laid back with a fun atmosphere that has fostered some very good growth over the past couple of years. As a part time employee I haven't spent a huge amount of time in the office but feel like I'm a part of the team when there and really enjoy the company outings for a little team building and camaraderie. Really looking forward to an opportunity to grow into a full time position with this quickly growing company.

Cons

Parking near the office can be a bit of a pain (as everywhere downtown) but if you can hop on the sun rail they are very close to a stop on the line.

Company culture is excellent, management is easily accessible, and the vision is inspiring! I've seen how other staffing environments work, but this business model is superb. Rewarding employees, setting high yet achievable goals, and growing with the company are just some of the few things that separate BlueWave from the rest

Cons

None to speak of. If you enjoy building a company from the ground up, and have an entrepreneurial spirit, working for this place is contagious!
