Pros

Pros are that this is a fully remote position and you'll get to work with big clients. It's fun to learn new industries and some of their clients have really cool businesses. Even though I rarely met with anyone outside of my hive, I had a great impression of several individual employees and fellow Strategists.

Cons

I asked tough questions during the interview process and early on, I saw big discrepancies between reality and what I had been told during those interviews. I felt misled about the amount of turnover in my position, the type of clients I would be working with, and the capacity/ role expectations of this specific position. I also felt like my clients were being misled about [confidential]. I met with leadership on multiple occasions to discuss my concerns and the conversations felt very dismissive. Like the Strategist before me, I resigned quickly. The other negative reviews on here are accurate. BEFORE you leave your current job: Bluleadz asked me to sign a very extensive non-compete/ confidentiality agreement compared to my last agency. Read it carefully. Tip: If you scroll down on any company's Linkedin profile, you can see the average tenure of their employees. Ask them about the average tenure for Strategists. Google how "unlimited PTO" works and it's drawbacks.

Pros

Most of the people are nice...

Cons

This company might have been a good place to work a few years ago, but it is going downhill really fast. It's a dumpster fire. Turnover is super high. People leave left and right. Company has a habit of hiring a bunch of people only to lay them off soon after. Huge lack of transparency. Very disorganized, stressful workplace. CEO is very out of touch with what actually happens in the organization. Finances aren't managed well. This place is erratic and dishonest. Most employees here (and management) fly by the seat of their pants. Everyone is overworked. Clients don't get the quality work and results they pay for. It is all about survival here at this point. Everyone is spread so thin that nothing can truly get done... and very little gets done well. I would not recommend this place to anybody. There are tons of agencies out there that have much healthier environments... look elsewhere. Bottom line: If you have talent/skills, you won't be appreciated and you'll be extremely overworked. If you are new to the field, it's a terrible first experience... but you will learn a lot about how business shouldn't be run and how marketing shouldn't be done.

Pros

Team members are kind and there is a positive energy despite the surrounding chaos.

Cons

This was a very channeling role from the start. The internal processes are undefined, unprofessional and inefficient. My first month I cried every single day as I was working 14 hour days and weekends. There is no work life balance. I was thrown onto accounts with maybe one day to research the company, their goals, and create their strategy. Then penalized for not having the right action items in place. The CEO is out of touch with everything that has been going on in his business and is now upside down in revenue, laying people off, cutting pay, eliminating "unlimited" vacation and going back on his remote policy- demanding in-office work in the midst of a pandemic- with no regard for the health and safety of his team. As a marketing agency, I was quite surprised to learn not many (if any) in the agency have much experience in marketing outside of BluLeadz. The average client pays a very low retainer, but we sell the world to them that we can turn their entire business around and generate a plethora of qualified leads without the budget, means, time or staff to do so. It's a recipe for failure on the team, disappointment from the client, and zero productivity. This agency is going under fast- I highly recommend looking elsewhere.
