Good for Realtors, TERRIBLE for Corporate Staff
Pros
Occasional catered lunches, good teammates, nice office space, fair PTO
Cons
No communication, constantly changing and unrealistic expectations, and no growth/learning opportunities. The COO has too much power and has her hands in everything. That combined with a weak and unqualified department director makes it impossible for staff to do anything well or efficiently. I'm certain that upper management intentionally hires unqualified directors (but who think they know everything and who have BIG opinions) so they can keep their hands in things/have to be heavily leaned on. If you're a realtor, this is a good firm and you will be heard and respected (if you make frequent sales) and you are put first almost all the time. But be prepared for your corporate staff to have regular turnover. If you are applying for corporate positions, run for the hills! You can do better in terms of work environments, opportunities, and salary/benefits.
