Pros

Nothing. The smoothies are mid.

Cons

Absolutely no loyalty or care towards their employees, especially after the Chicago franchises were sold to the new owners. After dedicating almost 2 years of time to the company, they chose to fire me via email while out of town. Every shift is just 1 single employee (you) working and doing all of the roles. You don’t get any breaks. This company will do anything - break any labor law - to save a buck. After having my schedule and hours tampered with without any notice one too many times, I spoke up about it which got me fired not even two weeks later. These guys run their business using every single legal loophole they can to get away with exploiting the employees. It’s pathetic, and I am beyond grateful to no longer be representing such depraved cowards.

Pros

they give a free equinox membership

Cons

absolutely the worst job i have ever worked in my entire life. the owners in chicago are greedy people and did not care if their employees suffered at work. the intentionally understaffed us during the busiest hours in order to make the most profit possible. they refuse to pay you for overtime and breaks you didn’t take because you were understaffed. company policy states arriving 10 minutes early is required, yet those 10 minutes are unpaid. everyone is miserable and they can’t get any new hires to stay on.
