Pros
I work with dedicated competent people in my department and most others. There are a lot of people working hard every day, mostly out of pride. I have a good boss, and I interact with his boss a lot, too, and he listens to me. It's a mostly casual work environment.
Cons
The culture is toxic. The usual reaction to a problem is to evade blame. I've gotten one raise in 4 years and had to threaten to walk to get it. Sales is completely in charge. Most of them are aging and conduct business the way they did 30 years ago. There is some good leadership, but the main decision maker caters to Sales constantly. Policies and procedures are ignored by key people, and a lot of time and energy is expended on CYA.
