Pros

My co-workers are nice, and the pay is okay.

Cons

Book & Ladder has an uninteresting work environment. Our leadership is clearly disconnected from the employees, so we rarely get support from them. The atmosphere here is really just bland. Employees don't get opportunities for growth, and there is no opportunity for advancement at all.

Pros

They were both the owner and operator of my community, which made it easier to get CapEx purchases approved.

Cons

Not all holidays were recognized. The religion of corporate management was well known, and religious items were visible in offices on video calls.

Pros

The company benefits are enticing.

Cons

Book & Ladder has a lackluster and bland work atmosphere. Our leadership doesn't seem to care about its employees anymore. The work environment is terrible because our leaders don't provide proper guidance and support. Most of the management ignores employees, and most of the management ignores employees, and most employees feel like they're treated as machines in this company, devoid of joy and culture.
