Pros

Growing, alot of potential, possible opportunity

Cons

Wont get any kind of important position unless you are friends with the owner. Because of this most of management is a glorified hourly employee. You may get a decent salary to start but not alot of raises unless you threaten to leave. Countless others that really could go on for days.

Pros

Besides some of the very few good people who ONCE worked there I can't honestly say anything good about this company. It was fun working for a sports related company but that is about the extent of my enjoyment working there.

Cons

I agree with all of the cons that many of the other employees have listed. Overall, this company is a joke x10. There is no work/life balance because the benefits that are offered to you are terrible compared to what other companies offer their employees. Don't take too much time off....don't leave the building for more than 15min...God forbid don't breathe! All they care about is micromanaging and watching over every little thing you do like you're in some type of prison. Policies? Ha! The ones that upper management doesn't follow. Oh yeah those. If you know the right person there or you're a "friend" or "family" member then you pretty much have free reign to come and go as you please. Everyone else....don't even think about it because you WILL be scolded. The pay is ridiculous considering how much work and pressure you have to deal with. Ever heard of a thing called "industry standards". Get with it! Stop paying your upper management 6 figures to do what...sit around while the rest of us actually do the dirty work for you. Wow must be nice. Professionalism? Another term that is nonexistent within this company. I have NEVER in my life worked for a company that could not seem to get it together. No budgets for anything important but they love wasting money on other useless projects like all the business they once had downtown. You made the right choice letting those go. Organization? Another thing that is lacking. Seriously? Is it really that hard? You have hired NUMEROUS people to fill positions that seem to be of no value to this company. Do you have any idea how to even run a company with the proper departments and/or staff? It's not that hard. Value? Also nonexistent. Do you ever wonder why sooooo many of your employees have quit in a VERY short amount of time? Does that not ring a bell? Because you could care less about the talent that you currently posses so you seem to be okay with people quitting or laying them off like its nothing. You really know what you're doing!

Pros

- good health benefits and decent 401k - learn a lot about adobe software- especially illustrator - good team of designers - you get your own personal adobe account - OT during busy season -Flex-ish hours. As long as you clock in for your full 8hrs. - you can tell art management does care about their employees on some level, but CEO certainly gives them no freedom to reward employees and create good culture. - decent stepping stone for a design job, but no career path for creatives

Cons

- Management lied during my interview about how creative my position would be and how I would have so much design freedom... in reality, I did the same task over and over. The only “creative” aspect is that I used adobe software. - When a mistake is made, management will do everything they can to place all the blame on one person- even though multiple people may have been involved (even small mistakes). This creates an “every man for themselves” environment. - No room for growth and no incentive to work hard - company does not keep their employees informed about anything (policy changes, quarterly earnings, plans for future, etc) - No vacation days for an entire year, then after 1 year you only get FIVE DAYS - CEO makes chaotic decisions on a whim and will flip 180 after valuable company time and resources have been spent - a lot of favoritism - company makes it obvious their employees are expendable - office is in a rural location- surrounded by cornfields. Not a lot of options for lunch and very rushed since restaurants are a decent drive away

Thank you for your feedback. We pride ourselves on transparency during the interview process and even have designers complete a design exercise during the interview meeting to ensure they understand the job responsibilities and the level of creativity needed for the position. We acknowledge our culture is entrepreneurial and dynamic which may not be a “fit” for some employees. We are firmly committed to developing a culture which exemplifies our core values of respect and integrity and view mistakes made as an opportunity to learn and grow. We strive to provide an atmosphere where employees receive recognition for their work and appreciation for their contributions from our CEO and all members of the management team.
