I worked at Boost Juice Bars part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    - Great job for 15 year olds to early twenties
    - Fun and challenging environment where you need to work with others to succeed
    - There are a variety of duties and responsibilities where you learn what your own strengths/weaknesses are

    Cons

    - Pay isn’t great due to no public holiday and Sunday rates
    - Often find yourself over worked

    Advice to Management

    - Staff need to be listened to and if concerns are raised, they need to be acted upon

I worked at Boost Juice Bars part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    - fun environment
    - learn a lot about running a small business
    - helps your memory learning all the recipes etc
    - Free boost per shift

    Cons

    - sometimes breaks would be missed due to being busy
    - you get sticky from all the fruit and yogurt spilling on you
    - you have to up sell and suggestive sell but you dont get any bonus or reward for selling certain amounts ... could be a fun idea
    - in summer you get tired because its so busy

    Advice to Management

i was lucky to work with a fantastic owner in the hills district of sydney but not all owners are fun and fair... probably try to have the same variety of owners running your brand stores as it effects the customer experience... eg... the parramatta Westfield store is a grubby mess... the owner is running it down hill and the uniforms are never correct or clean... theres ingredients everywhere and they never weigh anything... not good for customers who expect consistency .... i understand you can learn the weights but its never identical ...

I worked at Boost Juice Bars part-time

    Pros

Fun environment, lots of training, great team and good hours if they like you.

    Cons

    New owners and messy work.

    Advice to Management

Not a good idea to come in new and immediately change everything the store has been doing for 10 years.

I worked at Boost Juice Bars part-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

The job itself wasn't too bad when the correct amount of staff was on.

    Cons

Incompetent management, no penalty rates, focus on hiring lots of underage employees because they cost less but then aren't available during school hours, was doing management position duties with the promise of promotion but never receiving one, low pay, expectation to work for free at times, intimidated by management not to complain about things, There were times I wasn't paid my full amount of pay because it affected their labour percentages too much with the promise of putting it through the next month but had to fight for weeks to get what was owed and then had hours dropped at punishment for it.

    Advice to Management

Train management better, stop taking advantage of underage kids who are to scared to complain due to threats of hours being dropped and increase pay.
