Pros

The company is expanding and does a good job at employing diverse candidates, perhaps better than what one would expect for a fin tech start up. There are some really nice people who work there and this might be the one thing I like most.

Cons

The culture is extremely toxic and I would not recommend this company to an enemy. Besides the very few nice people, there are some rude, passive aggressive people here who may bring out the worse in you. You’ll often find an unprofessional email directed to one person, but with the entire company copied. There is no professionalism nor basic respect in communication amongst most people. You can tell who dislikes whom and there’s usually not much done to instill a better culture. There’s some dishonesty in their customer relations. They offer bare minimum benefits, a single hand full of vacation time off, no exciting benefits. The benefits are as boring as this company is.

Cons

The culture here is extremely toxic. Everyone is passive aggressive and clearly unhappy. Terrible work life balance. You can hear managers screaming at their teams on a daily basis and it's extremely unprofessional and un-motivating (but what do you expect when the CEO screams during meetings) but the biggest issue is that management refuses to evolve to make for a better work place. To start you only get 10 vacation days which is below industry standards and you are unable to work remote which for a fintech startup company is practically unheard of. The perks here are minimal to none. There isn't much room for advancement, each department is different but it is difficult to get a promotion because its almost a taboo subject around Boost. I don't recommend working here if you want to have a solid career there are other companies you can get experience from.
