Pros

Borderfree in it's former glory days was a great company to work for under the leadership of the CEO at the time. Now it is a different story...

Cons

Gone are the days that made Borderfree the place and enjoyable culture it once was. There used to be drinks and Karaoke nights after every town hall meeting, and monthly birthday treat of the month, and other small but fun events. These are all gone now under PB management. Even our christmas holiday party was pushed to the new year..it's like it was an after thought for the Borderfree side of the business. They don't appreciate the talented employees that made Borderfree a success and as a result people are leaving at a rate never seen before here. It's really sad to see a great company going down this rabbit hole. Borderfree was doing well before this takeover. Now we are evaluated based on the poor performance as a whole and our annual raises took a big hit.

Pros

Made some great friends. They have their share of good people and tools.

Cons

Whatever you do, do not join the product group. Yes, even if you are not working and in need of a job/money. Go run in central park or go work in a Chipotle but do not even think about working in Product at Borderfree until this current product head is there. Your life is more precious than wasting even a minute speaking with her. Her boss isn't any better.

Pros

There were so many pros during the Borderfree era but since PB has taken over they have all faded. There are really no pros to this company anymore than you collecting a paycheck and working short PB hours. No one is motivated to do much so kick the email chain around and everyone can clap once an announcement comes out.

Cons

- Attrition rate is over 50% and will continue to grow, PB has decided to destroy the Borderfree. culture that they paid a premium to buy - Best and brightest are leaving in waves leaving just the fat - Employee moral is at an all time low in the past 3 year - Merit increase are around 2 % for a above average performance review
