Worst Company I've Ever Worked For

Pros

None, I wish I could give this place 0 stars.

Cons

You are just a number here. This is the worst run company I've ever seen. 90% of the installers are impaired when they show up to work, but as long as work gets done no one cares. No safety department in a company this size is a joke.

Mercenaries, not Employees.

Pros

Plenty of overtime. New experiences. Different installations at different locations. You'll travel the US going to some of the newest retailers or developing malls and airports and create awesome temporary set ups with vinyl graphics.

Cons

On call 24/7. No set schedule. Constant changes to upcoming jobs. One minute you've packed your bags to fly to Cali and a few hours later its been cancelled. Constant changes in the company as Senior and Executive management strive to be relevant in a dying industry as more retailers and malls drop from their National accounts list.

Potential Squandered

Pros

The company has been growing. Many of the employees are hard workers. Although there have been many capable managers they frequently have been fired for setting boundaries with the CEO rather than for lack of competence.

Cons

Frequently friends and family of the CEO are hired. Sometimes they are quality employees, sometimes not. I have seen employees that are major assets to the company fired for absurd or unsubstantiated reasons. It seems amazing that people working 7 days a week, sometimes 80 hours or more, who have been instrumental in the growth of the company have been terminated. Current and prospective employees should be warned that accepting a salaried position can be used as a license to work you practically to death. In part due to growth, the company is terminally understaffed.
