Pros

You'll work with people who are kind, accommodating, and enjoy their jobs. The students overall are great and fun to work with. Good stepping stone, my manager was extremely supportive when I transitioned to a higher paying role elsewhere. Lots of community building opportunities like holiday parties etc. And lots free workshops across a variety of topics that all staff are able and encouraged to participate in.

Cons

Extremely homogenous population, including staff, students, faculty, everybody. Everyone's white, NE upper middle class (which compared to the rest of the country is just extremely wealthy/privileged), "centrist republican" whatever tf that means, bottle blonde, from the suburbs, never walked on a sidewalk before lol. Never have I encountered this many disney adults in one place in my life. if you don't fall into this highly specific category of individual it can feel difficult to navigate the very rigid very hierarchal VERY catholic culture. The school keeps each department strategically understaffed, then staffs student employees to compensate. So it basically winds up that the entire school is staffed by 18 year olds who have never had jobs before, and the school doesn't have to pay them a living wage or benefits. On the flipside, the actual admin (the adults) are so overworked and overloaded real responsibilities, it winds up being a perfectionistic corporate hustle culture. The school deliberately does this to save as much money on staffing as possible, which is ludicrous given what they are charging in tuition.

Pros

Managers and staff are very good at listening and putting you into a position to succeed at the requirements of the job.

Cons

Not enough staff for the positions causes doubling up of work.
