      Pros

      The ability to work a flex schedule is very important to me and there are many employees that take advantage of this option. Boulay is a very positive place to work, the partners are all friendly and helpful. Process improvements are encouraged and suggestions are considered which is not always the case at other firms. Employees are given the opportunities to work on things they are interested in and allowed to specialize or generalize, which is a huge plus over other firms. We are well taken care of during busy season with many perks, both food and activities. Compensation is fair and the company is stable and growing. It is a great place to work!

      Cons

      It is unfortunate there are not more women in leadership rolls. Out of approximately 30 partners only 4 are women.

      Pros

      Boulay is a very inviting place to work at! This is a very inclusive and positive work environment. Everyone is always open arms with any questions you may have along the way, from ANY department. Boulay is one of those places where you feel welcomed all the time, even if an issue happens, everyone is willing to take the time to help you out whenever needed!

      Cons

      Boulay does get very busy during a certain time of year – tax season! Everyone is going to have a project/task to do during this peak time. The days do go by much faster, but they will manage to get longer as the season continues.

      Stable and good with new college graduates

      Pros

      Great mentoring program for new college graduates. They help accounting students with internships and job shadowing. Lots of fun activities during tax season to reduce the stress. Good in-house CPE. Up-to-date with the latest technology. They are strict about doing good quality work.

      Cons

      A larger firm, so easy to get lost in the crowd. Tax season hours are bad.
