Pros

A free Philly Soft Pretzel Factory pretzel on Wednesdays. A member of the click gets you preferential treatment like overtime and refusal to do certain tasks that are asked of you; others are fired! If you are the lazy type, then this is the place for you. You can stand around talking all day with you hands in your pockets and earn a paycheck. You can do this at the expense of the people around you that actually earn their money. Previous CEO was fired just two months ago.

Cons

Nearly 200 employees quit or fired in the past two years, a real automatic revolving door. A five hour (pre-hire) inquisition where you are promised everything to come on board and once hired, they expect you to do the job of three or four people for one salary. Expect to be low-balled when you are offered a job. Machine operators are required (forced with job-loss threats) to run six, seven and ten machines on one shift, which this company states that is an industry standard? Quality Inspectors (3) are responsible for 80 plus machines that run 365 days a year and lights out. They are crammed in a room no larger than my family room (tuna can) in dirty, noisy and filthy conditions. They are also given little to no measuring equipment to do their jobs in a professional manner. The company is a dirty, oily and noise levels are unbearable. It breaks many OSHA, EPA and Local codes such as covering up smoke detectors on the ceilings to keep them from going off when the shop fills with smoke from the machines. As to benefits: Lousy health insurance, minimal vacation, no perks; but a free soft pretzel. If you like abuse, work here. Management will humiliate, lie and humor you as long as they can and when they tire of you, you are gone like myself. Very condescending management. Beware of the Human Resource Department in particular and always heed this, "the truths you think they are telling you...are lies that are left undiscovered." In my thirty year working career, this is "the worst company" I have ever worked for.

Pros

They give you free pretzels on wednesdays.

Cons

This place has a complete revolving door on their labor. They will low ball you on your wages, leave you with the expectation that you can make up for it with overtime, but provide only 40 hours per week. Training is minimal or nonexistent. Management and supervisors will trash talk their labor with complete despise when they think you cant hear them. This is not a company that knows how to treat their employes. They will lie to get you in the door, then treat you like your worthless.

Pros

Ice cream on Friday's during summer months.

Cons

So many. Inoperable AC systems. Literally 88 degrees in shop in the fall with oil in the air very thick you can even see it like fog. Oil coats your whole body along with sweat. Machinists run double or triple amount of machines as the standard practice and made to write down every dimension as part of AQL frequency on sheets. Inspectors, what inspectors. Only 3 quality inspectors on manufacting side. So busy no time to think straight. The lazy incompetent workers get left alone and those who know what they are doing have to make up for the lazy incompetent fools. Company was hiring young kids with not even any training experience or multiple machine type knowledge to be nazi department "supervisors". These guys can't even help the new hires because they have no knowledge or ability to train others and management finds that OK. Craziness. Revolving door of people coming and going. Train someone and they quit or get run out. Heard now hiring people that can't speak English because the word is out about the company. Stay Away!!! Unless you are lazy. You'd fit right in.
