Pros

Some of the people you work with are nice.

Cons

Management and the executive team are terrible. They micro manage you, threaten your job if you don't hit you ridiculous daily numbers, and expect you to work 10+ hours a day. Must call the CEO every night and give a recap of your day. No real sense of strategy or common sense when making business decisions - I'm surprised the company is still in business. Everyone is miserable and is looking to get out. When they have mandatory sales meetings or trade shows on weekends you are expected to work AND they don't give you any days off - yep that means you work 12 days in a row. But because you are salary it's supposedly not illegal? Oh and forget about getting your monthly bonus / the CEO decides who gets it and how much. It's not based on sales goal achievements or growth over previous year.

Pros

It was a job. That is about it. It was a very negative experience

Cons

Poor Management. Sales Goals constantly changed and were never realistic. Owner had his favorites and they were the only ones to get bonuses. There was not an actual bonus structure no matter if you made all your sales goals you would still not make bonus if they owner did not feel like giving it to you.

Pros

Free product and engaging with salon professionals

Cons

First off you will not make bonus or commission. Your salary which is below the rate will be threatened to be reduced at every point even if you have just started. No one stays longer than 60 days if they can help. They will tell you “we’re like a family here” it’s 2021 everyone knows what that really means. There is zero work life balance, no respect, no help, no support. Management has no experience and no leadership skills, they mirco manage and bully. No one tells the ceo the truth. The salons you do business with already know about the severe turnover that has been going on for years and will make jokes about how you won’t be around for long and they aren’t wrong. That’s why the roles are always open. Management will tell you “this job isn’t for everyone” the truth is this job is for no one.
