Pros

- Full-time job that requires little to no requirements - Other techs are good people and fun to talk to - Great job to start building your resume with - 9 to 5:30 job - Gives you experience in customer support, troubleshooting, networking, windows server 2003-2016, using a ticketing system - Summer fridays (half day every other friday during the summer) - Can wear jeans and a t-shirt everyday

Cons

- Unless your last name is Abbene, you won't be receiving a promotion here - You will never be acknowledged for good work unless the managers see it in person - No yearly reviews, no raises (unless you demand one) except a 1% "cost of living" increase - Health insurance is 400 dollars a month - Training and documentation is atrocious. - Managers will either ignore you or give you a 5 hour lesson on a question. Other techs will help but are mostly busy taking care of problems that they can't handle either - Program is based on a dead language - No benefit to finishing work early - Some customers will know more about the system and some customers will also be picky about who takes their calls - Schedule is not very flexible

We thank you for sharing your personal experiences here at BRdata despite the exaggeratory or incorrect nature of some of your statements. As always we appreciate feedback, which we use to continually improve our environment for our teammates and in turn, for our clients. We want to make sure each of our employees’ voices are heard since they provide valuable viewpoints to help make BRdata a great place to work and since they provide innovative ideas to help the company grow. With this in mind, for quite a while, Management has set up routine private meetings with each teammate to provide them with direct opportunities to discuss concerns and/or suggestions for the company and work environment. These sessions are also used to help provide road maps to reach an employee’s goals and allows management to better assist in fulfilling those goals. This is in addition to our yearly reviews and Management's open door policy to make sure every employee's voices/opinions heard. Just as we focus on each employee's views/goals, we also do the same with training. We cater our trainings to each employee's strengths/weaknesses as to prepare them as best as we can for their career at BRdata and help them expand their abilities. We are sorry to see we missed the mark for your time here, but with our goals and our mission statement in mind, we will be sure to continue to grow and learn from each experience to make each employee’s time as part of the BRdata family the best possible. We value everyone's opinions and strive to constantly improve the company, work environment, and experiences.

Pros

Great people, generally fairly low-stress work environment, company's recent growth shows a lot of promise.

Cons

It's still a job, and as a result there are expectations such as showing up and doing work. I don't think anything really unique here.

Pros

- Entry level job. Easy to get it with basic IT knowledge. - Small company, you get to know everyone to a personal level. - The Support Team is awesome. Everyone is very friendly. - Account Managers are very helpful when you need to go to them. - Summer Fridays. - Free water.

Cons

- The workspace itself is dirty, gloomy and depressing. - Low salary. Well below the national average. - Terrible benefits. 11 days off to start with. - Health insurance is insanely expensive. ($400 a month) - The owner brushes his teeth in the lunch room, that is just unhygienic.  - Some managers do nothing but sit all day in their office. - No proper training. - No a tier system, to escalate problems. If someone can't figure out an issue they are stuck. - No place for developing a career unless you plan on being a support tech for years. - Programming requests are slow and support should not have to deal with the clients if the change is needed. - Open all day on Thanksgiving eve, The day after thanksgiving, Christmas eve and New Years eve. - The software is coded in a really old programming language. (PLB) - Program is terrible, constantly breaking.
