Pros
The only pro to this place is the money you can make as a server because of how fast tables turn.
Cons
This company does not care about its employees, quality of work environment or quality of food. Working there for for over two years I witnessed multiple less than satisfactory incidents and how they were handled. Beyond the fact that one of their restaurants had a rat infestation that went on far too long before they took care of it, there was not ONE day where they closed on purpose to fix ANYTHING. By rat infestation I mean rat feces every morning when opening the restaurant. Everywhere. In storage areas, in coffee cups, in cream holders, on kitchen prep areas. Rats would run through the restaurant in sight of customers and they would brush it off and blame the location. A rat jumped on top a servers head one morning while opening. Still they did nothing. Don't mind the cockroaches either! There were two broken fridges for months they did nothing about while they focused on expanding and opening other locations. The cross contamination of food products is unlike any other restaurant I've worked at. Constantly food would be brought out with meat that wasn't supposed to have meat. The trash can in the kitchen is located directly next clean cups and silverware and I have also witnessed multiple line cooks using a cutting board on top of a trashcan to prep food. As a full time employee they offered health insurance at one point. That was great until they decided to kick me off because they weren't giving me enough hours even though I had a completely open schedule as a full time employee to qualify for the benefits. There is no seniority. Everyone must get fair and equal shifts even if you have been there a year or two longer than the new part time server they just hired. If you were to speak out against any of this they said you were a disgruntled employee and would basically blacklist you. Upper management would come in and just not speak to you. They couldn't fire you because they know they would have a lawsuit. Which they do. By multiple parties. I know or knew of two personally. They do not honor agreements set by a previous precedents like a leave of absence, or the health insurance. If they don't like you they will find any opportunity to get rid of you. Legal or not. One coworker I worked with was framed by the company so they could fire them. Any form of criticism is not welcome and you will be looked down on after the fact. Beyond all this I'm pretty sure they pay the health inspectors off. They cut corners wherever possible. One of the newer restaurants was shut down for a month after opening because they lied to the city about permits and they always take the quickest easiest way to open a new restaurant with building that may not be up to code. This company only cares about profit and nothing else. I get it you're trying to run a business but there is an ethical way to do that and a slimy way to do it. This company and it's upper management are all slimy and complicit in the way this company is run starting from the top. They wonder why they have such a massive turnover rate and its because when you get people at that top that don't care, why should anyone else?
