Pros

Wonderful Clients that give you experience in diverse populations.

Cons

Everything from Leadership, Environment, Scheduling, Communication, and Pay. There's high employee turnover rate for a reason.

Pros

The only pro was working with the clients. I believe I became a better therapist by the various clients and was able to work with issues/disorders I had not yet been able to due to limitations in previous jobs.

Cons

Where to even begin... Breaking free was a nightmare from start to finish. Expected to complete work trainings prior to working there so they could spend less time training me and not pay me for the trainings. Leadership and billing was a mess, constantly making changes and not giving the appropriate training on the changes or time to roll out new methods. the owner/ceo has little disregard for her employees and the clients. Many clients go through 3-4 therapist changes due to the excessive amounts of employee turn over. Management is unwilling to accept constructive criticism and will instead take it, turn it around to punish and gaslight the employees. I witnessed incredibly questionable ethics be displayed across the board with each step of the process... from charging the clients the wrong amount, not being paid for trainings, having to chase down paychecks, numerous meetings being canceled, the ceo reading and responding to the clients before the therapist, abruptly firing therapists due to speaking out against the issues and leaving clients abandoned and back on a waitlist... I’m surprise the company is still standing. This was the most hostile and toxic work environment I have ever been in. The other clinicians I have worked with were excellent- the issue is the leadership and how they “run” the business. Favoritism and nepotism runs the show. Unfortunately, I am not the only one that feels this way and many more that have quit feel the same way. Benefits are laughable and pay is below average.

No good.

Pros

It is like your own practice, but not really.

Cons

All expenses are on the employee, lap top, phone, office supplies, extra time needed to train...all on the employee. Do not openly express any concerns, it will not go well. If you do find yourself working there, keep copies of all of your work. Documentation has a way of disappearing.
