Great salary while it lasted

Pros

Good benefits. Coworkers were amazing to work with.

Cons

Company is now going in the direction of their parent Company in Canada and have laid off hundreds of US employees since 2020. No notice ahead of time. They pop in on a video chat and read two sentences that this is your last day despite the fact you had stellar performance, awards, and performance appraisals. Most customer calls are now answered in Nicaragua and the Philippines.

Pros

Working remote has it perks (commute, environment, etc.)

Cons

Breezeline consistently puts profits over people. Multiple rounds of lay-offs in a timespan of a few years and yet the same individuals remain in positions at the top. Outsourcing offshore was their most recent poor decision, which will be detrimental to their customer experience (apparently ignoring customer feedback from existing BPO partnerships). The company is poorly run and rife with dysfunction (and your compensation will not make it worth it if you are thinking you can overcome that).

Pros

Not much anymore. It’s a tyranny.

Cons

No stability. President is. Tyrant. Non stop layoffs.
