Business outlook
Pros
Great to work with citizens of county. Most county employees are professional and hardworking. Pay is quite low for expectations set forth, but as a whole benefits are OK. HR is rather nonexistent. Personal bias governs in regard to retention and promotion.
Cons
Elected officials do not play by the rules. Employee communication is kept at a bare minimum between employees and departments at the expense of tax payers; efficiency and transparency is lost. Most emails are required to be BCC by department heads so they can micromanage employees.
