Pros

- great snacks - remote friendly - fair compensation - Highly ballyhoo'd and arguably innovative business model "moneyball for biotech" but feels like it came out of someone's JP Morgan Healthcare Conference "disrupt the industry" pitchdeck.

Cons

Have to pay $26 a day for parking then expense it every single time. If you want us to come to the office just give us a parking pass please. All hands Town Halls are tedious showboating lead by pharma bros who make dumb jokes about their PhDs (gratuitously calling each other "DOCTOR" and hurr durring amoungst themselves over this perceived hilarity all over again every single time they pass the mike to each other while we all sit there forced to watch them) and bro down with each other exuding fratty vibes in their Patagonia vests and flip flops. Wish leadership was more mature, experienced professionals who have worked in this industry and not fresh grads off the assembly line from Goldman Sachs and Mckinsey. Sitting there makes me feel like I am trapped in a never-ending TED Talk hosted by people who think they invented science because they read the wiki on CRISPR once. It’s all hustle-culture quotes and inspirational fluff about how we're helping patients while the actual work of regulatory filings and quality control is neglected for the delusional belief that they’re "disrupting" healthcare by reinventing things actual scientists have been doing for decades. The fratty culture permeates everything. Meanwhile, Safety, Clinops and Quality are held together with duct tape by a skeleton crew of exhausted professionals silently screaming into their spreadsheets and unresponded emails while trying to explain to Stanford dropouts why regulatory RFIs are not “just suggestions.” This company seems to worship velocity over safety, optics over outcomes. Protocol amendments are treated like support tickets.

Pros

The most positive work environment I have ever encountered in my 15 years in biotech across 12 companies. The leaders and upper management genuinely care about doing the right thing for our patients and employees. They constantly reevaluate whether they- and we- are doing the best they can do. The support of employees during COVID19 has been totally focused on making sure we are safe and feel supported while getting creative in serving our patients. The benefits are by far the best I've seen and they keep adding more and better benefits over time. The company treats people so well that they want to give their best. Most of all, the work is very interesting. This is the first place I've had the chance to meet patients and directly see how we can impact lives. It honestly makes my cry every time but it really motivates you. They are really supportive of continuing education conference attendance. Anyone in the company can call up the CEO on his cell phone if they need to. No one is treated as unimportant. The all hands meetings invite anyone to have a say and they truly welcome dissenting opinions. They're not looking for 'yes' men. I don't think it's accurate to say that the company 'lures people in' with the promise on a big return on an IPO. Perhaps that did happen to the one person with the negative review. I was lured in with the innovative science and the chance to contribute to an exciting start up. Discovering the great pay, benefits, and culture were extras for me. Work/life balance is great- managers are very understanding for life happening and a lot of work still gets done. I really hope I never have to work anywhere else. This company has ruined me for other jobs!

Cons

There is not yet a clearly communicated set of principles to guide the managers in good leadership. So far we do have mostly good middle management and it's not too top heavy but without guidelines, there is a possibility of someone getting into a position of power shouldn't be. I really love this company and this is the kind of insidious issue that can erode a culture. No one in a leadership position has ever asked me if my manager is doing a good job. He is fantastic btw but if there was a problem I'd need to know that I had a way of dealing with it without threatening my job. (I'm not referring to our harassment training because that was quite good, but it's about what not to do, not what to do. Management principles go way beyond that.

Pros

I had 3 round of interviews they said me to do a certified course by paying money. I did the course they said they will reimburse it with the salary. I completed the course and send the certificate to them. They said they will be putting me to 4th round. Then after no rply no answering of call rather they just blocked me

Cons

They should atleast inform what is the problem. What is reason of blocking our call. I have given my time, money.
