Cons

### **Cons:** I’m sharing this feedback to highlight concerns at the **project leadership and team management level**, which significantly impact delivery, transparency, and employee well-being. **1. Planning & Delivery Challenges** * Developers are not consistently involved in early planning, leading to execution gaps. * Timelines shared with stakeholders often do not align with actual development estimates. * Frequent architectural changes during execution increase workload and delay delivery. * High-impact initiatives are not always prioritized effectively. **2. Agile Practices Not Followed Properly** * Story points are assigned rather than collaboratively estimated. * Performance is sometimes measured based on hours instead of complexity and outcomes. * Ticket expectations are unclear, yet accountability is placed on developers. **3. Workload & Production Pressure** * Teams handle both new development and heavy production support with limited capacity. * Production issues significantly affect planned deliverables. * Workload distribution is uneven at times. * Post-release stabilization efforts are high but not always acknowledged. **4. Weekend Work & Compensation Issues** * Frequent weekend work is required due to planning gaps and changing requirements. * Compensatory off requests are often not approved. * Employees are sometimes asked to use personal leave instead. **5. Communication & Team Environment** * Communication in meetings can feel non-constructive and discouraging. * This impacts morale, participation, and confidence. * Lack of consistent project management presence in key discussions affects alignment. **6. Recognition & Visibility** * Team efforts, including successful releases and extended support work, are not always communicated effectively to leadership. * This leads to incomplete performance evaluations. **7. Employee Well-being Concerns** * Limited flexibility in handling personal or medical situations. * In some cases, this has contributed to employee attrition. **8. Micromanagement & Trust Issues** * Leadership (including CTO and reporting managers) tends to micromanage tasks extensively, including tracking minor aspects like leave usage. * There is a noticeable lack of trust in development teams. **9. Hiring & Team Credibility Concerns** * Concerns exist around the authenticity and verification standards of some team members, affecting overall confidence within the team. **10. Individual Experience (Example)** * A team member facing a medical condition was not given adequate recovery support. * A mutually agreed work arrangement during notice period was not honored despite task completion.
