      Greenhouse Staff always Loses

      Pros

      Salary package is well above the mean for skilled positions.

      Cons

      Working on-site at the greenhouse is a good experience, lots of team-work and good people. The biggest issues at Brightfarms come from those outside the facility. Long hours are required to pad the stats for upper management with little to no upside for hourly and salaried staff. Many employees here work from home and seem to not add much value, all while finding ways to add more work to the plate of on-site employees. I have heard Brightfarms called an “F-ed up game of survivor” where you can be fired on the spot with little to no warning so job security is mostly non-existent here.

      Pros

      Some folks are great to work with and make it bearable to get through the day.

      Cons

      The company likes to portray themselves as the place to work, but what they say doesn't match their actions. They do not provide a safe environment for employees to provide feedback.

      I see the potential for things to be better.

      Cons

      Culture can be toxic, not enough compensation for the demand they put on us. Expected to work long hours, burnt out, and lacking work life balance.
