Pros

BF has many of the right elements of a successful company: interesting market, smart people, "AI-driven platform" , Data as a service and smart folks on the consulting side.

Cons

Significant turnover in organization, lack of marketing, siloed based operation for small size, arrogant CEO who thinks he knows both.

Pros

The product itself is valuable to the firms that actually buy it. Fully remote and good work life balance if that's your thing. Everyone is knowledgeable about the industry and product and is supportive when you ask them to be.

Cons

-Fully remote and no training. Beyond boring day in and day out -The company is terribly managed. To be specific, metrics are arbitrary and you can expect a "do what you're told" type of culture where you're treated like a child. -Here's what kills me...I've booked great meetings for the rep I support and it takes them DAYS to send follow up. They let deal after deal fall through and go cold. They don't care to sell anything. When this was addressed with HR it doesn't resonate and you're told that you're wrong because they're the top sales person there. Well guess what - that's relative to the others! Imagine if you actually promoted a hungry BDR or hired someone who was hungry to sell. They'd blow your top performing rep out of the water. Having a lackadaisical rep like this in the best territory, holding onto any and every deal despite not actually following up with the customer is just taking a seat away from someone else who would actually put in the effort.

Pros

Remote, very hands-off environment. Very smart people work here. Good sales enablement tools.

Cons

A lot of talk about growth, advancement, development... all the right buzz words that you want to hear as an eager professional wanting to grow a career in sales/tech... but sales executives are simply not willing (nor motivated/encouraged by the CEO) to promote internally or split territories. Don't expect to learn anything new here. Not a face-paced environment. Not a challenging role. If you are someone who is content with doing the same thing every single day for months and months, with little to no accountability and not adding new skills to your resume... this would be the position. Extremely frustrating environment for "go-getter" personalities, those who want to go above and beyond, or for those who want to get exposure to other fields in the tech business. Lot's of barriers to entry to do anything new or to get promoted. Management is not trained to manage. There is no process or operating plan. There is no review of performance. There are minimal metrics, which seems appealing in a sales role, but then you aren't actually able to measure success or show any sort of growth. CEO is very involved in every aspect of the sales team.
