Pros

Few good people still working there

Cons

The HR department have several employees writing falsely positive reviews on several websites just to put a mask on the ugly truth and also to appeal to buyers as the company is in big financial debt and looking for a buyers. The company is publicly traded and their financial statements are available for free. Unqualified management due to nepotism, it's whom you know there not what you do or how hard you work. Senior management positions are given to those who know upper management on personal level regardless of experience or work ethics. Managers, several of them, lead by fear and by talking down to their employees. For example, you may work all kind of hours and bend over backwards to get your job done but when you dare to ask for a promotion, you will be told that you are not even qualified to be in our position and asked to put in more hours, keep in mind when you are a salary employee, no overtime is paid. your skills and qualifications are suppressed so you do not appear more knowledgeable or smarter than your under qualified manager. some managers will take credit for your own ideas to with upper management. No such thing as work/life balance, you are expected to be available all hours of day and night, with no compensation for your wasted weekends or nights. Do not get stuck like I did, I have been working here for less than a year and now having hard time finding another job cause the length of my employment is being counted against me with some employers.

Pros

Get to work full time. Great Employees for the most part. You might get promoted. Cafeteria serves a variety of food.

Cons

This company has been on the decline for years and they will remain that way unless they start taking care of their customers and employees. They will have changed their name TWICE in less than 3 years and honestly believe switching to Brinks is somehow going to magically correct their course. Senior Management has no idea what they are doing and a they are completely detached from the reality of what their customers and employees have to go through on a daily basis. Unqualified and unsupprtive team managers rule with iron fists and they are unflinching in their quest to climb to the top of the ladder. Tenure and loyalty mean nothing, so don't expect your time, energy, or efforts to mean much at the end of the day. My last manager was probably the most unsupportive and uninvolved manager I ever had the misfortune to work with. She rarely met her commitments to meet with me, couldn't care less about what was actually going on with my team, and had a true skill in making those around her constantly fear for their jobs. Her ability to make everyone she interacted with not really like her was truly a remarkable thing to witness. Almost all of the positive reviews on this site, and pretty much anywhere, are fake so do not believe the hype of 90 percent of the 4 or 5 star reviews you read. Either they paid a customer in some form to garner a positive review or an employee made a fake account and posted the review. If you speak up about any of the working conditions you are immediately marked for departure. My advice to anyone applying here is to keep your thoughts to yourself and do whatever upper management tells you with a fake smile because that's all they want. Oh and don't respond with honest answers on the employee survey; the whole anonymous piece is a complete lie and they will use your answers against you when it comes time to thin the herd (my manager told me that my team's answers were all read by her boss and they wanted to know "What was going on with the team." - I thought that was the point of the survey though...). Nepotism runs rampant here and HR is either powerless to stop it or outright refuses to do so. I've heard from numerous people that my former supervisor is currently dating one of his former agents, and even though HR knew about it both of these people still work there. How is this type of relationship allowed in a professional environment? Let's just say there were multiple times when he was her superior that they were in his office for far too long (for no apparent reason) and there was far too much physical contact between the two of them. The whole team suspected something was up and I'm sure they still do. I know for a fact that HR was/is aware of it after another dismissed employee brought it to their attention, but instead of reprimands or expulsion they BOTH got promotions. If you want to work in an environment filled with "yes men" that stifles ideas, success is based on who you know rather than what you are actually capable of, and an environment that is rife with anti consumer and truly unethical business practices, then go right ahead. If want to actually have a successful career with a successful company I would definitely recommend you apply to pretty much anywhere else.

Pros

-Casual dress; decent work place environment; a good place to perfect my witty banter for almost three years while consistently bossing my deadlines.

Cons

-You will be laid off or terminated in the end, but that's life. -No company identity and a 'one-trick pony' in comparison to the industry leaders who strive (and succeed) in actually turning a consistent profit. -Unsustainable business model from the top down, thus leading to the inevitable hundreds of layoffs every 3-4 years while they regroup and reconstruct another short term strike plan; very strange dynamic within particular departments (i.e. Favoritism, Friendships, Clicks, etc.).
